Immigration Permit Fees Revised
As of 1st January 2021, the Department of Immigration has revised immigration permit fees. This is in line with the Immigration and Deportation (General) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020.

No. When applying for an employment permit, you have to be out of Zambia and wait for the response from immigration.
Yes. You can be in Zambia when extending your employment permit.
You can apply for a residence permit when you have been on an employment permit for a continuous period of 10 years or an investors permit for a period exceeding 3 years.
If you have been in Zambia on a continuous period of 10 years on an employment permit, then you can apply for a residence permit, but if you had temporary permit or temporary employment permits and an employment permit in those 10 years, then you do not qualify.

No. Any one on an employment permit cannot apply for a spouse permit if they already have an employment permit.
Yes. You can be in Zambia when applying for an investors permit.
$250,000 is the investment for a new investment and $150,000 is for an investment in an existing company.
No. Your investment must be in full before you apply for an investors permit.
An investors permit and an investment license are different as investors permits are issued by immigration and investment license are issued by Zambia Development Agency (ZDA).
